Eggs and Garlic Chives
garlic chives
butter or olive oil
eggs (as many as you are hungry for)
Cut garlic chives into 1/4 inch pieces. Be generous. They are mild, and you know you have plenty. Saute lightly in butter or olive oil. Do not brown. Beat eggs and add to chives. Add a bit of milk if you like. Cook till done. Salt and pepper to taste.

Roasted Rosemary Rounds
2 russet or other oblong potatoes
1/2 packet dry onion soup

1/2 stick unsalted butter

1 tbs. chopped fresh rosemary
Slice potatoes into 1/2 inch rounds. Melt butter. Stir in rosemary and soup mix. Toss potatoes in mixture until well coated. Spread potatoes in baking dish and pour any remaining mixture over them. Roast in oven at 300° for one hour.
